60second film creation evaluation

In this task we had to put together a 60 second short film in a group. In our group we came up with the idea of having a first day at school and nervous to go to the café so instead goes to the vending machine to then have a nervous breakdown because his chosen selection wasn’t available.

In this we started by thinking of different camera angles we could use and we came up with a lot of ideas. We then went out and filmed in and around the college. We came p with going to the vending machine as it was upstairs and we could use a lot of different angles and camera shots while our actor Mitchell was walking up the stairs.

As we started filming we had a lot of different ideas and some of them even changed. We filmed with long shots, high angles, pov shots and many more to make our masterpiece come alive.

The editing process went very well as the software was very easy to use as I had used similar ones in the past. The only thing I didn’t like was the rendering part were we had to wait. We learnt many new things like putting titles on cutting to exact moments and even adding sound effects and music.

The overall film was good as it came out well and the sound was great.
